Iris Apfel //
The Queen of Queens
This branding project for an imaginary museum is based on Iris Apfel with the dream that seeing her studio would give insight into the eclectic fashion icon’s mind and thought process.
The museum, Queen of Queens, would be in Queens, NY where Apfel began her career in a small studio. Her love of textiles as art themselves would be the inspiration for the exhibit, Fabric Freak, a name she refers to herself as due to her love of all fabrics and such a variety. Below find the branding materials for the museum as well as the exhibition.
Museum branding inspired by Iris Apfel:
Necklace: lots of colors interesting shapes, spontaneous
Glasses: Iconic, circular, black-rimmed frames
Exhibition branding is a combination of fabrics that would be an unusual pairing but still work.
